The bulk of the work is rebuilding services to be portable, stand-alone components that do not depend on shared-network access and are safe enough to use across the insecure Internet. This structure does not lend itself well to being distributed across geographically diverse locations, particularly when Internet transit is required. With the abundance of inexpensive computers that can run GNU/Linux, as well as the greater availability of Internet access, many GNU volunteers today have all the computer facilities they need. It should be able to run anything that would run on the GPD WIN but a little better as we’ve got more RAM in the GPD Pocket, so check out some review of the GPD WIN on Youtube to find anything specific. The screen brightness and contrast are nice for reading books and comics that haven’t got tiny text.
